Lemon-y Bass Lines

I have always felt that John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin was underrated. When I was trying to figure out how to play bluesy bass lines on the guitar, I remembered "The Lemon Song" from Led Zep II, and his bluesy, funky lines underneath Jimmy's solo. Why would you want to learn to play bass lines? It's a great to comp for someone who's taking a solo, and it's just a great way to chill when you really get it going. Here's a basic 12-bar blues in E that's been expanded to 24 for easier reading. Learn it and play it until it just comes naturally. Then, you'll be a walking blues-funk monster.
