The musical key signature is Db. 5 flats. The Groove Builder uses the chord names that are most often used and does not automatically transpose enharmonically.

The notes in the scale are Db, Eb, F, Gb, Ab, Bb, C, Db. In music notation sharps do not appear in the key of Db.

To have the correct chord sound with the Groove builder, the C# substitutes Db, F# substitutes the Gb, E substitues Fb.

The writer of the program had to make a choice and thus they used the most common chord names, even though some of the correct alphabetical named note might be incorrect in other keys.

The last few pages will show the actual fingerings used for playing this tune along with some explantion of the progressions used.
