This five-note pattern can be used as the basis for many complex interlocking poly-rhythmic lead parts. In this example however, a variation of the pattern has been adjusted to fit into four Bars of 4/4, and can provide a very effective contrast between (or against) standard lead breaks. Suitable for both finger and plectrum style picking.
