Playing simultaneous fingerstyle chords and walking bass lines is a valuable technique to have in your arsenal when accompanying a singer, horn player, or another guitarist. This style of playing has been widely used by players such as Joe Pass, Lenny Breau and Ted Greene. I'd like to examine how the bass line/chord comping technique can be used with a set of changes similar to "Autumn Leaves".
