Here is the basic exercise layout with each duration type lasting one bar.
Whole note | Half notes | Quarter notes | Q N Triplets etc.

Let's use the Bb Harmonic minor (similar) scale for this one.

ANY SCALE OR PATTERNS MAY BE USED. THE FOCUS IS RHYTHMIC.

Do not necessarily play this pattern. This is only meant to introduce you to what each of the divisions sounds/feels like.
The composer will not produce half-note triplets or 32nd notes; that last ridiculous run is 32th note triplets - 48 per bar......ya right!
