Too many play on words...

But that's ok. What I really intend on getting across to you is that now's the time to see the 7th. See the 7th as an addition to the siblings in the harmony structure within each chord, and see the 7th chord as the missing link to the proper C major chord scale.

This discussion is important to your future on the guitar. However, this lesson crosses a line in the sand, so-to-speak. This is important harmony information. Especially for learning intermediate and advanced guitar techniques. With the understandings from the previous lessons, you can grab ahold of your guitar and start winning some major victories. This should be easy to pick up, though...
