For the purposes of this series of lessons, all you need to be aware of are these chords shown below (all in the open position. If you know them in barre formations already, fine, but only a few will be necessary. We'll get into barre formations later. The F and Bm chords are shown twice. The first example is the full barre. Either one that you learn at this point will be just fine):
