First we label the fingers of the right hand (assuming you are right-handed):

• thumb = p
• 1st finger = i
• 2nd finger = m
• 3rd finger= a

Now form an Am chord in open position, this places all the notes of the first measure, then using this right-hand sequence p-i-m-a-m-i play the first measure. Repeat this sequence for all eight measures paying attention to the left hand fingerings. Practice this slowly and at an even tempo, gradually building speed as you feel comfortable.
