Here's one that starts up high and works its way down the blues scale, using a couple of pulls, until it reaches the right point to resolve by going down to the E7(9). Note the little pinky slide on the ninth fret thrown in at the very end -- I like this effect for a change of pace every once in a while, but it's not really crucial if you don't care for it.
