First we will start off with the A chord and work our way up. A is probably the easiest chord to play as you can play it with only 1 finger is you like. The basic fingering is like this: Ex.1. You could finger this chord with your first, second, and third fingers going down the fingerboard. Another way of doing it is with only your first finger pressing down the strings also muting the high E string like this: Ex.2.To play A as a barre chord you play this: Ex.3.
