This is the first part of Matteo Carcassi's Study in Am. I really enjoy this piece, its not hard to play, and sounds really nice. Through out this piece, you'll notice that three notes will play consecutively. You can play that by using just your index and middle fingers to pick, but it is much better practice to play it with A-M-I, using your thumb to play the bass note and then your ring, middle, and index fingers to play the triple notes.
