Ok. This is very hard to do but once mastered it does wonders on your playing. Plus it will impress your friends alot.

The first thing to do is you must be playing on the G B or e strings. I find this to be much easier. If you can do this on the other strings then you're really good. But it can be done so practice.

So you're playing on them strings. When you hit a note you must use your picking hand and move it up to where the strings meet the end of the neck and lightly touch the string (Depending on which note you hit and which string you're on, you might have to search around a little bit to find the perfect spot.) If done right it will slowly turn the fretted note into a harmonic.

Hints: Use a maximum distortion for best results. Using the bridge pickup helps alot too. Cuts down on noise reduction as well.

Don't feel bad if you can't do this the first time. It takes practice.
