Keeping A Rock Band

I have been in a number of bands now, and most of these fell apart as soon as they started up. My current band, "Petroleum ICE" has been going for quite a while now, and I hope to use our example to help some other artists keep their band together as well.

The first thing to do is to start a band with people who you can stand. I know it seems obvious, but many people don't do this when first starting out, I know I didn't.

Try and stick with people who you like spending time with, because to make a successful band, you have to spend time together, to discuss ideas and the music.
