Here is further proof, for those who doubt me.... These chords:

are the same when you account for: the switched string sets (we bumped the chord up a string higher) we got rid of the highest note because we only have six strings

These chords are also identical:

when you consider the switched string sets (we bumped the chord down a string lower) we don't play the highest string, because it was not in the chord before..
