Rhythm changes are most often performed in Bb, but they are also played in verious other keys, commonly F, Eb and Ab. Once you have mastered this key, move through all of the other keys.... It is helpful to write the changes out first, but as you play in more keys, hopefully you will be able to "hear" the changes more easily.
