The Bridge

The bridge moves through the circle of fifths. You can improvise by using the major scale a fifth lower then the chord root (D7 gets G Major, etc)
the bridge is sometimes called the relief; if you use the Bb scale for the A section, it is a relief to you and the listener because you have to use a different scale/arpeggio here.
