Well, barre chords are typically found in
two variations... the E shape

A major


It is called E shape because it is just The E chord moved up to whatever fret
you need it at...in this case fret 5 on the E string, or A.

Then there is the A shape barre chord
D maj

Of course, this is just an A slid up to the fifth fret.

Now you know Amaj and Dmaj in a different place
practice switching between them.
