Using the Major Pentatonic Scale

Personally, I can't think "major pentatonic" without thinking about the Allman Bros. Here's a lick that exclusively uses notes from the major pentatonic scale. In the first 4 measures, we simply go up the scale, but on the offbeats which give our line some rhythmic interest (instead of just playing on the beat). In the second half of the example, we simply play a repeated descending pattern in the scale...
