In this example, there's a repeated figure on the tonic, and the last note is varied each time. Note how in the middle of measure 4, we play both the low G and the G and slide down. If you think this is a bit easy, just remember that Wes used to play these sorts of licks but using all octaves, instead of the single notes shown here.
