This is one of the cool bass runs that you hear in the song. Personally, this part is what I think of first when someone mentions the song Hideaway. If you're playing a rocking tune and need to slow it down for a second, this little 12-bar insert can work for any song. The 2-bar runs essentially combine notes from a 7th and 6th arpeggio along the bass strings.
