The examples in this page are exactly the same as page 1 but with one twist. Each time we hit the highest note of the lick, we approach it by a half step below. In each case, the approach note is unrelated to the A dorian scale, but because we are resolving to either the D (the 11th) or the F# (the 13th), it sounds great.
