This lesson should teach a few tools and tricks to aid you in your blues writing/playing. The first thing you need to do is come up with a rhythm. This one is my favorite blues rhythm. Its a rather easy one to play. I fret the Em chord with my first finger to extend my reach and leave the my other three fingers free to move around. To mute the 5th string I simply move my first finger over a little.
