Here's a basic country pattern that is probably familiar sounding to you. It's one of those patterns that shows up a lot in country music. Notice that the bass line that does quite a bit of moving while the chords stay pretty even. Don't worry if you can't do this right away. It's not as easy as it sounds. The next page will deal exclusively with the bass line.(If your having some trouble you should skip to the next page to work on that part by itself).

This lesson will use this chord pattern quite a bit so take your time and work on it for a while. Once you feel comfortable move on and we'll put some fun stuff on top of it.
