Flamenco Chord Progressions

The most common chord progression I have encountered in Flamenco is Am - G - F - E. This is often transposed to Bm - A - G - F# or any other key, but still remains as the initial progression. Various rhythmns are used to play this so I will just give you a simple 3/4 time example here. If you listen to any Flamenco for long you will hear this somewhere, probably several times. Often it is strummed, but it can be very artistically arpeggiated. See page 4 for an example of using this progression. Visit My Soundclick Page to hear some of these in use.
