Tab has been added to this lesson. The harmonized scale starts in the key of C thru the key of E. Every 4th measure goes up a half step, or 1 fret, into the new key. This pattern will give you an idea how to practice playing this pattern.

If you have a standard, or folk guitar, practice going thru the pattern in the key of C, Db, D, Eb, and E and then reverse and go back down using these fingerings. If you have an electric guitar then you probably could run from C to C.

Start slowly at about 30 bpm and increase in increments of 20 until you at about 300 bpm. Set the tempo to the 300 bpm initially to hear how fast that is. Then change the tempo back to 30 and work from that tempo.

I will try to put the tab for this part on the next page.
