Paul Gilbert Technique
Here there is a little hard to play note, the A on the top string, 17th fret, you have to play that note with your pinky finger, the same finger you use to play the E note on the 2nd string.
For G on the top string I recommend to use your middle finger.
Its amazing to hear this lick played by Paul on any live solo, practice slowly at first, dont be frustrate, speed like Paul dont come easy.
