This is the third fingering for the minor pentatonic.
This is the third minor pentatonic pattern in the key of A. If you have read about the other 2 patterns you may realize that they are each on different parts of the neck. This is why Stevie Ray Vaughn would solo all over the place but would still be in the same key. After you learn this check out patterns 4 and 5.
