Let's continue with our discussion on the Major Scale as it play an important role in the Western(Civilization)music.This Scale creates other kinds of musical Scale patterns.Here we have three scales,play each in different keys on the guitar as you through a couple of times you'll notice two scales look the same,but their not,because one of the scale degrees has a flated third.Make sure you hear the sound quality for each scale.The are scale as follows:

    Major Scale:

  • Degrees:1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
    Major Pentatonic:
  • Notes: C D E B B C
  • Degrees:1 2 3 5 6 8
    Minor Pentatonic:
  • Notes: A C D E G A
