The other day I composed a little jazz-type ballad. This is how I did it.

First of all, I know that often a 'real' composer usually hears the tune in his/her head first. The great composers usually did this. Mozart did. He 'heard' his tunes and then wrote them down. It's the ideal way, of course, but I decided to manufacture one. Not quite the same but it can work.
