Now listen to the melody played with the souped-up, anticipated version of our rhythm part. Again, it's subtle, but makes for a much more effective rhythm part. Try doing the same thing with some of your favorite songs, and the next time you play them with another guitarist, a singer, or a band, they'll say, "hey, I don't know what you're doing, but the song sounds great..."
