Slide this over any letter and you get the degrees of the scale indicated by the numbers.

At the same time, the Roman Numerals indicate the type of chord,

M = Major, m = minor, dim = diminished.

Notice the use of enharmonic notes in the 2nd row of letters..

EXAMPLE:
The slide is set so that Gb = 1, the notes of Gb Major are:
1 = Gb
2 = Ab
3 = Bb
4 = Cb
5 = Db
6 = Eb
7 = F
