Now that you have some Pentatonic concepts running around your head let's take a look at these scales in a less "boxed in" way. What I mean is let's try to move the scale up the neck of the guitar by connecting the patterns instead of being locked into only one pattern at a time. Here's an F Major Pentatonic Scale that moves up the neck of the guitar. Try to play this scale slowly and evenly, and then gradually increase your speed.
