Part of this includes becoming comfortable with finding the roots on the fretboard.
This exercise you'll play the roots on all six strings for a certain note and move it through the Circle of 5ths, beginning with C: C-G-D-A-E-B-F#-C#-Ab-Eb-Bb-F-C.
In following lessons I will be moving through the Circle of 5ths with each scale pattern.
