The five rows have been established along with the tonal patterns that will form the melodic lines when rhythmic values are assigned.

We may take the same notes and utilize them for the harmonic background for the melodic lines played "over" or "thru" the tonal clusters.

Row one consisted of the notes Bb, Db, Eb, G, Ab and Bb for the octave.

The accompaniment tonal clusters are derived from the Row as well. Here are a few possibilities. The notes are given above the diagram.

Bb,Eb,Ab,Db,G
Ab, G, Db, Eb
Ab, Db, G, Bb
Eb, G, Db

We will discuss more of these thoughts in the subsequent lessons to follow on this same subject along with accompaniment ideas, rhythm, variations, counter point, moving lines, dual keys, and poly rhythms. Too many to discuss in this lesson. Watch for the next part coming shortly.
