The way I used these scale segments is, set the loop to forever. Then play the selected note sequence everywhere on the neck. Play this first one starting on the 3rd fret of the low E string, the 10th fret on the A, etc.

For me, breaking it up like this helped in getting used to the long stretches and developing more of a consistency than always playing longer scales. Hope this helps someone who's starting with scales!
