At the bottom of your browser window are several icons and select boxes which
allow you to set your site preferences.

- Bookmarking - (Available to Members Only)
This icon allows you to bookmark any page of the site. All of your bookmarks appear
in your list of bookmarks and you can edit or delete them at any time.
If you are currently logged in and haven't yet bookmarked anything, click on this icon in the lower left-hand
corner of your window. |
- E-Mail A Page - This icon allows you to email the current page to your friend(s).
After you specify the e-mail addresses of your recipients and click "Send", your friend(s) will receive an
email with a link that points to this page at WholeNote. |
- Tuner - Clicking on this icon will launch a virtual guitar tuner that you can use to quickly tune up. You will
then be in tune with all musical examples on the site. |
- Metronome - Clicking on this icon will start and stop a metronome which you can use for practicing in tempo. If you
want to change the tempo, simply choose a new tempo from the "tempo" select box and restart
the metronome |
- Stop the Music - This is a global "Stop the Music" button. You can use it to stop any kind of
musical playback at the site at any time. |

Tempo
- This select box lets you change the tempo of any musical example at any time. To change
the tempo, simply select a new one, and re-start the musical example. |

Sound
- This select box lets you change the type of guitar sound used for playback. To change
the sound, simply select a new one, and re-start the musical example. |

Click
- This select box lets you add a click track to any musical example.
The choices are: "None", which means never, "Start", meaning count off one measure
before the example starts, but don't play the click during the example, and "Always", meaning count of one
measure before the example starts, and click during the entire example. To change
your click preference, simply select a new one, and re-start the musical example. |

Loop
- This select box lets you loop the musical example for a specified number of
times. To change the loop count, simply select a new one, and re-start the musical example. |
