Groove Builder
• Selecting a long groove with
a high loop count may generate a MIDI file that is larger than your browser can handle. The result is
no playback. |
Resizing ("'SubImg' is not defined")
• Due to a bug in Netscape, visitors
who have resized their browser may encounter a complete reloading (or double re-loading)
of the site, and the current page may or may not reload. In some cases, JavaScript errors like the one above
may occur. To fix this, simply hit the "Reload" button on your browser. In general, we suggest that you determine
the optimal viewing size for your browser, and then not resize again. |

Sound
• If you are using QuickTime as your
MIDI plug-in, in most cases, you will not hear any of our sound examples. Please download and install one of
our recommended MIDI plug-ins. |
|
Composer
• The initial loading of a sequence
into the Composer may take a little bit of time (~15-30 sec). Please be patient. After the first loading, any
subsequent loads will happen quickly.
• If you resize the browser while taking the tutorial, the Composer will disappear in the bottom frame.
There is no fix for this, except to upgrade to the newest version of Netscape. |

Bookmarking
• When a page is bookmarked, the name of the page
is represented by its HTML filename and not its title. |

icon  in the lower left-hand corner of your browser. |

twice into the groove. There is no fix for this, except to upgrade to IE 4.0.
• The bottom frame containing the groove is
not moveable. This is no fix for this, except to upgrade to IE 4.0. |
Composer
•
If you are using Windows 98, and you play back a sequence, the Composer may either display a "Playing...." message,
which does not disappear, and there is no playback, or in general, there is no playback. The fix is to
download and install the newest version
of the plug-in or ActiveX control, which currently is Shockwave 7. |
