Lessons: Lesson #409: Fingerstyle Tremolo |
|
Pages: 1 2
Suggested Tempo: 150 |
|
A smooth tremolo takes a long time to develop, practise slowly at first, paying strict attention to tempo and right-hand fingering. As in my arpeggio lesson, we observe the labelling of the right-hand fingers thusly:
- thumb = p
- 1st finger = i
- 2nd finger = m
- 3rd finger = a
In this example we look at Classical tremolo. Now play each four-note figure with this sequence - p a m i - with p playing the "bass" note and a m i playing the three repeating notes on the first string. |
