In this lesson, we will discuss the next major step in playing chords....the barre chord. We will hopefully also help you to remember which one is which (a vital skill when you actually wanna play a song) by learning them in a logical and systematic way.
(If you don't already know, a "barre" is when you play more then one string with the same finger)
The good news is that if you can play these barre chords, you will be able to play just about ANY chord that you want to play. Major, minor, dominant seventh, minor seventh, and major seventh will all be under your fingers.
The bad news (and there is always bad news) is that barre chords are hard to play at first. They require that you build up a bit of finger strength before you can really play them well.
