The Guitar Fingerboard

Notes about the Guitar Fingerboard:
  • The space between consecutive frets is called a half step. The distance between a B and a C is a half step.

  • The space between two frets is called a whole step, and as you might expect, two half steps equals a whole step. The distance between an F and a G is a whole step.
